About
For most Americans, 9/11 was a jarring wake-up call that reminded us that we can’t take our lives—or our freedoms--for granted, and that time is a precious gift that’s not guaranteed. But it was the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993 which sparked the epiphany that changed Bob Pressner’s life. Working as a commodities trader at the WTC, the now Florida based singer/songwriter breathed in some of the bomb material and became sick from it. Though he had been pursuing his music on the side, this experience was the spark that inspired him to pursue his dreams more urgently. His latest CD, the dynamic and edgy, heartfelt and somewhat ironically titled "Honor Among Thieves", is the culmination of a recording and live performance career that began in the mid-90s, shortly after this unexpected life changing experience.
