Nashville based by way of Southern IN, Dax has been trudging quietly along the ups and downs of an independent career in the music business for most of his life.
His newest and as of yet untitled album, is the result of a series of serendipitous events which began with his decision to relocate to Nashville in the summer of 2010.
With the help of avid supporter and entrepreneur Denver Cavins of Inertia Media, Dax was finally able to record in a world-class setting with an equally talented, yet, up and coming producer named Grant Craig.
Sleighted for release in 2014, the album has already been licensed by Nascar as well as various cable networks including A&E, Bravo, Discovery, VH1, MTV, Oxygen.
Dax was 1 of only 100 artists hand picked to participate in a new film/tv licensing program from Reverb Nation called The Reverb Room.
Already embraced by Nashville's leading independent radio station, Lightning 100, Dax was asked to participate in their annual Music City Mayhem Festival. His song, Run and Hide, has seen frequent rotation.
A preliminary college radio promotion saw Run and Hide as a top 5 add on several stations across the country.
The sound is as acoustic as it is electric, introspective and dark, lyrical and poetic, original, yet wholly accessible.
"It's a marvelous album, superb songwriting, performances and production. If you like bands with an Americana slant, then you will love this. It flows along very nicely" -Nicky Baldrian, Fireworks Magazine UK
