Elliot Caroll
About
In 2006, singer-songwriter Elliot Caroll began self-producing the songs that would define her unique sound: intimate, alto vocals; electroacoustic instrumentation; clever, candid lyrics; and lush harmonies. Her hooky hometown ode "Songtario" caught the attention of producer Greg Wells, who invited Elliot to play for him in LA and urged her to pursue pop songwriting.
Produced by Michael Eisenstein and featuring Kay Hanley (Letters to Cleo), Stacy Jones (American Hi-Fi), and Chris Fudurich (Nada Surf), Elliot's debut EP opts for a richer, full band sound while maintaining the more distinctive elements of the self-described "bedroom pop" that got people listening in the first place.
