Dia started writing poetry and entered the poetry circuits in 2001. As she grew in her poetry, her love for music began to grow. Now she writes for her generation and the one coming up behind her. Through her music and the development of youth programs in Maryland and Nashville, TN, she hopes to see youth and young adults reach their greatest potential.

Dia currently resides in Nashville, TN, and is pursuing her Doctorate in Ministry.
