RAYNE

Hailing from Sunderland, 'Rayne' are one of the most exciting bands to emerge from the North East of England in recent years. An eye-catching album release in December 2011 and a spate of gigs across the country have set tongues wagging about this whirlwind alternative rock three-piece. Rayne's anthemic rock sound been compared bands such as Muse, U2 and Angels and Airwaves.

Four times Battle of the Bands winners (at a national level), RAYNE were also runners-up at the 02 Live & Unsigned final (out of 10,000 bands). The band have raised in excess of £20,000 for charities and were awarded an 'outstanding contribution to music' award at the Red Dreams Awards in 2010. The band formed 16 years ago when the members were still at school, and these years of playing gigs and writing songs together have bonded them into an impressive musical unit.
