This music came to be on Dharawal land.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land in which I live and work, in particular the Wadi Wadi and Elouera peoples. I acknowledge the sovereignty of all Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islanders on this unceded land now known as Australia. I pay my respects to Elders past and present.

May this music welcome all, and for those on the wild road of reckoning with the bondage of privilege, may it provide a little company.

May we abdicate our little kingdoms for the wholeness of this planet found within the cacophony of our shared belonging.

This music is not meant to be any kind of resolution to tensions uncovered. It's written with a hope and belief that if we want to keep inertia at bay, we're better off together.

May we all break on through to the other side.
