From Consider the Ravens
In the spring of 2014, Turi Clausell reached out to a group of Nashville friends and musicians to partner with him on a worship project that he had recently started. It was supposed to be a 4-song EP, but God had bigger, better plans. When the collective got together, many additional songs were birthed from shared times of desperation, hopelessness, and hardship. The result was a full length album, self-titled "Consider the Ravens", that is a chronicle to God's enduring faithfulness and we hope that it resonates with you wherever you are on your spiritual journey.
In a world that is hurting and jaded, we want to speak gospel truth and life-affirming identity through our music. Our central message is that you are God's beloved and that He has NOT forgotten about you. Our name stems from this very promise in Luke 12:24 : “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!" Consider them. The grandeur of God is in the tiniest things - feathers of a raven, blades of grass, every little thought of every single person. It, like the stars, is also far away and unfathomable. These differences in perspective are as different as the night and day, but we are all here for the same reason--for His will and for His pleasure--and we are all looking at the same thing--the Creator and his creation.
