With more than a decade of recording and touring under their collective belts, the Memphis, TN-based four-piece Ingram Hill are certainly consummate veterans, yet in many ways 2012 still marks a time of rebirth for the band. The group just completed a powerful new self-titled full-length, which drifts much deeper into the tones of traditional country than the outfit’s more rock-influenced prior works. Entirely self-recorded, produced, and mixed, and partially financed by many generous fans, the forthcoming release captures Ingram Hill in their truly natural state. And to the proud Tennessee natives, that means the record was destined to reflect much more of their roots than ever before. Their forthcoming self-titled album is in stores and online everywhere August 28.
