Last Night’s TV started out in 2001, a collective of indie-pop musicians who met while at University in Leeds, UK. Currently revolving around singer-songwriter-guitarist Spencer Bayles and vocalist Natalie Leadbetter, the new album The End of the Measured Mile features contributions from the collective’s Owen Marriott (electric guitar), Sarah Jones (vocals) and Chris Maunder (drums). Tim Hann, a long-term collaborator and also front-man of alt-rock band I Concur, sings guest backing vocal on lead single ‘12th June’ and also mixed the album. The new album, recorded in a variety of people’s spare rooms, is the band’s sixth, following five previous self-releases. Lead single '12th June' picked up airplay on BBC Radio 2, while second single 'The Actress' is available as a special release on Noisetrade, featuring a couple of older songs as additional tracks.
