The Littlest Birds are Sharon Martinson on banjo, and David Huebner on cello. Their sound is the marriage of powerful songwriting, unique instrumentation, and a down home vibe.

"Think instrumental virtuosity balanced by a breezy, backwoods soul, music that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally soothing." - Dan Bolles, Seven Days Weekly, Burlington VT

Since 2010 they've performed 100s of shows across 34 U.S. States, and Canada, including festivals such as the Oregon Country Fair, Vancouver Folk Music Festival, CBA's Father's Day Bluegrass Festival, concert series such as Folk Session's Highlands Center in Prescott AZ, radio stations like KPFA, KPIG and WDVX's Blue Plate Special, farmer's markets, fine restaurants, house concerts, weddings, bars, street corners, backyards, wine cellars, and even one 200 year old Misión deep in the heart of the Baja Peninsula.

They've shared stages with artists such as Elephant Revival, Melvin Seals, Joe Craven, Rushad Eggleston, Pharis and Jason Romero, The Brothers Comatose, Jim Hurst, Mary McCaslin, Lost Bayou Ramblers, Mountain Standard Time, and many more.

"Within about eight bars of their first song, there was a stunned silence in the room, and the audience remained captivated to their last note," Agostino said. "I don't think I've ever witnessed that before. ... I know of few duos that have a more unique, compelling sound." Tom Agostino, Director of Folk Sessions, Daily Courier, Prescott AZ, Aug. 2012
