From Todd Lincoln Richards
Cross Harry Chapin and John Mellencamp, then add the influence of Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Warren Zevon, and Waylon Jennings, you’ll start to hear the music of Todd Lincoln Richards. A songwriter of country and alt-country, Todd’s roots go back to farming in rural upstate New York. At the age of 18, he passed on a full-ride to college and headed to Los Angeles to write and perform. Todd spent his early days in a rock band, achieved regional success, but most importantly, he put hundreds of gigs under his belt, and experienced life’s extremes, both high and low. Now, Todd returns to the music dearest to his heart, story songs, songs with a message, songs that pay tribute to the everyday struggles and joys of simpler times, greener places, and the innocence in the wide eyes of a child.
